    Nutty Weather?

    ADVERTS 1
I looked out the front window this morning and saw the grass! The snow this time of the year should have been up to the bottom of the top rail of the fence. it sure was last year. 45 degrees when it should have been 25 degrees. I LOVE IT! In fact it has been so warm in Minn-A-Snow-Ta I'll bet Iceberg was outside in a tank top and shorts adjusting a dish today.

    Crazy weather.....

One of our local weathermen said 95% of the US was above freezing yesterday. Many places some 40degrees above normal. We should be mid 40's to 50 here and it's been 68 to 70 for the past 3 to 4 days. I'm ready for cold winter weather and hope it stays that way for a few weeks.

i think changes are a coming. Storms that have been hitting the southern U.S. earlier in the winter seem to be tracking more to the north lately so I think the northern u.s. will get back to their normal winter weather and the southern u.s. will go back into the weather pattern that brings reasonably severe spring drought just like last year.

Heck, it got up to 65 clear up here in WV today. Had to take my coat off because I was sweating. Nice weather to work in. Cold snap returns next week though.

We have been dodging bullets here too! There has been a lot of 40 to near 50 degree weather and then a cool down for a couple of days. About once a week the lake effect snow kicks in but has for the most part avoided me! I only had maybe 2 inches of snow early this week and places to the South and East (The snow belt!) had 1 to 2 feet of snow!!! That was a repeat of a week or so ago when they got dumped on and I was spared. The city of Erie had about a foot of snow for the season so far and normally they get less than my location. I do not think that I had even 6 inches yet this year! This lake effect snow falls wherever the wind direction takes it. This year Lake Erie is not froze so whenever the cold winds do arrive and go over the relatively warm waters... Look out!
