To make a list like the one in my first post, use a word processor and "tabs" between columns. Post the document by adding the tag [ c o d e ] (no spaces) and end the documents with [ / c o d e] (again, no spaces)

Add or take away tabs as needed to keep columns straight.

I would do it, but I have to go to work now... If it's not up tonight (Easly Sat morning -- I won't be home til 1am or so..), I will make a side-by-side using the original lists on this thread.

THERE= a place. not here - THEIR= belongs to them - THEY'RE = short for "They Are". THEN = a point in time; not now. - THAN = used to compare things.
-If you tried 4 times to move forward, it was the FOURTH time you went FORTH! ---Something AFFECTS you. You have an EFFECT on something
Some one can win a MEDAL made of a METAL like gold for showing his METTLE (courage)
If something is LOOSE you might LOSE it. Your=belongs to "you" You're short for "you are"
You file a suit in court. You wear a suit in court. You stay in a suite at the hotel. You sweat it out. Victory is sweet!
If two sets of twin brothers have a gunfight, you have a Dual Duel
MUTE=Silent, unable to talk. MOOT= No loger relevant or important. "A mute points out a moot point."

MHD isn't really MTV HD, its a combo of channels. MTVHD will be a separate channel in the future.

While MTV-HD may certainly be a channel for the future, all of the channels in that "combo" are owned by MTV Networks, which in turn is owned by Viacom I believe, so they are all under the same umbrella....

MTV, MTV2, MTV-Tres, MTV-Jams, VH-1, CMT ...ect. Hell I even think Nikelodeon, Comedy Central, Spike TV, and TV LAnd all fall under that same umbrella but I could be wrong.

A side by side listing with the HD channels that both Dish and Directv have at the top and then the ones that are only on one provider below would be very helpful.

I put this quick worksheet together. I'm sure a quick modify would be able to list them like that:

    UPDATED v2

    Categorized/Alpha:

    Categorized/Carrier:

Better Quality .BMP versions can be found here:

    Alpha:

Hmmm...D* is starting to look real good. More of the HD programming that my family watches than on Dish.

Dish better wake up and add more HD movie, news and national programming or I may have to switch.
