Sice the DirecTV alliance is seenas shaky the market reracted badly to disappointing sub news in therms of the standalone product. The stock dropped 8% yesterday.

It would be nice to see TiVo swallowed by the master! Then I would be able to get HMO ... nice! This whole alliance smelled like the Microsoft/IBM deal from back in the day (MS-DOS) ... GO D*
