CBS moves Katie Couric to 7pm time slot in Orlando

WGMG had some layoffs and look at the new lineup starting Monday. No news at 4 to 6 anymore and Katie Couric CBS News at 7pm.
3:00pm: "The Doctors"
4:00pm: "Extra"
4:30pm: "Inside Edition"
5:00pm: "Dr. Phil"
6:00pm: "The 6:00 News - Get the WHOLE story"
7:00pm: "CBS Evening News With Katie Couric"
7:30pm: "Inside Edition" (repeated)
Amazing. I for one believe an hour is enough. But moving Couric to 7pm?

It's two less syndicated shows that traditionally make up the 7-8 pm slot. One of our stations is returning local news after network news at 7:00. Unless you are the top in a market, TV and radio stations are getting hammered. Besides, not many people are going to know Couric changed times.

Dr. Phil has had a slide in the ratings so it should be interesting to see how he does at 5pm. One of the stories they continue to report about is the Casey Anthony case and it's out of control. With all the problems we have in this country they make it the top story many times . It's like watching TMZ all the time. Boring.
