Thread: 'Medium' Could Be on the Move

"Medium" could be on the move.
Negotiations between NBC and CBS Television Studios are said to be at an impasse, leading to informed speculation that the show could be headed to the CBS Television Network.
NBC had been looking to bring back "Medium," but with a deal similar to what the network negotiated last year:

That's why industry insiders believe CBS Television Studios is likely planning to simply move the show to its sister network. The female-led crime drama would be a good fit for CBS, with 9 p.m Friday after "The Ghost Whisperer" a logical destination.

Might be a good thing for the show.
Since CBS owns it, they'd keep it around for several more years, and it would guarantee full seasons starting in the fall instead of the constant mid-season starts.
Plus the show is a good fit with "Ghost Whisperer" on Friday evenings.

I agree, I like Medium but Mondays with the addition of Castle got Medium pushed out of the schedule (I try to dvr it on Lifetime but they move it around alot...)

NBC has passed on Medium.

And as expected, "Medium" suffered a very short-lived cancellation, as CBS – which produces the show anyway – moves it to Friday, next to the like-minded "Ghost Whisperer."

There is also one less set of corporate suits telling the production company what they cannot do.

The show has suffered a bit in the last season with the whole Joe the entrapeneur thing and hopefully this change can get it back on track.

Glad to see that CBS has picked it up. In my opinion, NBC has shot itself in the foot with their fall schedule. Removing all 10 PM prime time shows for Leno 5 times a week is just plain stupid!
