Noticed last night some networks "dropped the ball" as far as coverage goes on the death of Bin Laden... NBC had David Gregory to start with, Chuck Todd then Brian Williams came on board and they had pretty much all of their name players up pretty quick in HD, ABC was HD with George Stephanopolos (spelling), Fox & CBS had SD coverage with Geraldo starting on Fox and Russ Mitchell on CBS...

Proud Staff MemberI was watching at 110" it would have if I wouldn't have been watching NBC ... (had it on the apprentice waiting on WNBC late news...)

I am still not sure what you mean. I happened to put CNN on and that is not even on your list. You appear to be referring to whewther the coverage was HD or not but since there were so few visuals at taht point I am not sure it really matters whether the content ws in HD or not.
But maybe I just don't follow you.

Proud Staff MemberI was talking about networks not the cable outlets and in this day and age the "Big 4" should have HD coverage...

I just did not understand what you were saying. Personally I think content is more important and if an event is really visual I would care about HD but in the case of what we saw Sundat not so much. but to each their own I guess.
