In last night’s metered market numbers The Tonight Show with a 3.5/9 (household rating/share) led Late Show and its 2.7/7. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters Tonight Show led with adults 18-49, too with a 1.3/6 rating/share compared to Late Show’s 0.8/3.

St. Patrick’s Day night offered very little in the way of new programming with CBS running repeats other than a new Gary Unmarried and ABC running all repeats except for Ugly Betty and what seems likely to be the series finale of Scrubs which was down 20% from last week. It doesn’t really matter since it has already been canceled, but Ugly Betty was down even more, 29% to its lowest ratings ever for an original episode not aired on a Friday.

NBC show drops off 19% in second week

CBS earned a fairly lopsided win Sunday night as "Undercover Boss" continued its strong returns, soundly defeating NBC's reality competition series "Celebrity Apprentice," which saw significant retraction

'Castle' scores series high for Alphabet

"Dancing With the Stars" and series-high scores for sophomore drama "Castle" carried ABC to a rather easy primetime ratings victory Monday, a night when the top scripted programs on competing networks aired in repeats.

Preliminary 18-49 averages for the night: ABC, 4.9/14; CBS, 2.8/8; Fox, 2.2/6; NBC, 1.8/5; CW, 0.9/2.
In total viewers: ABC, 19.9 million; CBS, 8.3 million; Fox, 6.5 million; NBC, 5.5 million; CW, 1.8 million.

Network edges Fox for week's ratings lead among young adults

Overall, according to "live plus same day" Nielsen estimates for the March 22-28 frame, CBS led in adults 18-49 with a 3.2 rating/10 share, followed by Fox (3.1/9), ABC (2.5/7), NBC (2.0/6) and Univision (1.2/4).
CBS also prevailed over Fox in adults 25-54 (4.0/11 to 3.5/9) and total viewers (11.1 million to 8.9 million), while Fox held the advantage among the younger 12-34 crowd (2.4/8 to 2.2/8 for CBS).

CBS won the night with adults 18-49 and ABC had the most total viewers. Due to the odd start times, we can’t see precise numbers for the shows, but we can see enough to know that Skating with the Stars didn’t get off to a good start, dropping to a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49 between 10p-11p and it declined in each half hour. Earlier in the night
Dancing with the Stars

scored a 4.7 rating with adults 18-49 from 8p-9p for its performance finale, up 18% from last week and 15% from last fall.

Skating with the stars sucked big time. I hated the British host, I hated the so called "stars" and I really didn't care for the skating. I predict here that this will be gone very quickly due to low, low, low, ratings.
