The GEOSATpro DVR1000ci is a DVR (note the V in the model number). I'm guessing the lack of a V in DSR100 suggests no DVR capablility.

    Correct!

DSR100 is a single tuner Digital Satellite Receiver with 1xx tuner.

The DVR1000ci is a Digital Video Recorder with 1xxx tuner and dual CI slots for CAMs.

A next generation DVR is also in preproduction. The additional numbers and letters are yet to be determined.

I would have to cast my vote for the SatGuys moniker!

How about the GEOSATpro DVR200sg? (DVR200HD would be awesome)
Actually, anything along the lines of DVR2xx would be great!
