Glorystar Firmware Update Thread

New Firmware Updates will be posted to this thread by Glorystar.
Please do not use this thread to discuss firmware or channel changes.

GEOSATpro DVR1100c and DSR100c receivers Auto Update feature is defaulted to the ON mode. Channel updates occur automatically each Tuesday morning at 3am in the local time zone. If an updated Firmware is available, a screen will prompt the customer to select YES to accept or NO to ignore the Firmware update. Firmware updates must be accepted by the customer and usually will not be automatically pushed to a receiver. Firmware updates will erase any timers, custom channel scans and favorite channel lists. The DVR1100c will postpone the Channel or Firmware update if programming is being recorded until the event timer expires. Channel Updates do not erase timers.

If a GEOSATpro DVR1100c or DSR100c owner disables the OTA Auto Update mode, the receiver will not be updated with any new channels or Glorystar information / promotional channels. The receiver must updated manually to add new channels and updated features. DVR1100c owners can save a custom channel list to a connected USB drive then reload after updating the firmware. DSR100c owners can save custom channel list via the RS232 port with the channel editor then reload after updating the firmware.

Implement new OTA automatic updating data protocol
Correct automatic auto clock setting issue. Updates time each time a channel on TP G25/G19 12115 is viewed or during the weekly OTA update
Correct manual / automatic auto clock manual setting issue which required a factory reset to return to the automatic time setting mode
Multiple channel scans create sequential channel numbering correcting the duplicate channel numbers issue

Update TP lists
Maximum Manual Record time removed. Maximum record time is now only limited only by size of connected available storage.
Correct Picture In Graphic (PIG) image freeze issue while in the EPG.
Added a pop-up window warning that Firmware and Channel updates will not occur if the OTA Automatic Update is turned off.
When in scanning new channels, new channel numbers are added to existing scanned in sequential channel numbers instead of starting again from channel number 2000 TV or 4000 Radio.
Motor Control adds an independent on and off control of USALS function for each satellite.
Glorystar promotion channels 1 to ch. 5 properly displays stored video and audio files if Time Machine is activated.
Eliminate random channel display after rewind or fast forward of recorded Time Machine programming.
Correct Channel Banner information of the current channel is displayed while Time Machine is activated.
Corrected Blind Scan of Galaxy25/Galaxy19 KU hanging on TP 11867 and not completing the scan.

* Allows Firmware / Channel List updating in Advanced mode in addition to the existing Glorystar mode. (receiver may be automatically or manually updated if a dish is aimed at Galaxy 19 with either no switch / 22KHZ ON and/or DiSEqC position #2.
* Updated Satellite List. Added 15 New empty satellite positions to the Advanced mode and 10 positions to the Glorystar mode.
* Added Favorite lists for:

1. Adventist Channels
2. Spanish Glorystar Channels
3. Russian Glorystar Channels
4. Arabic Glorystar Channels

Selected Favorites List remains in effect through a Data upgrade, but is reset to the All Channel mode during Firmware update.

Available for download via the satellite Galaxy19 KU OTA-SSU update on transponder frequency 12115, PID 330.

Fix: Random C-band TP Lock-up.
Fix: Increase scanning speed. Channels with no service name will not have a 45 second search delay.
Fix: Scan - previously would skip certain channels such as G18 - KU / Daystar.
Add: Providing Naming for TV and Radio services which are not properly referenced in the PMT.
Add: Blind Scan Scan Options: FTA / ALL - Assists in scanning only the Free channels or All channels.
Default: Blind Scan Ending IF Frequency: 1450 - Changed to match the most common LNBF LO of the Standard Type LNBF.
Default: Search Option changed from SAT (FTA) to 1TP (FTA) in Search Screen.
Default: OTA-SSU satellite, transponder and pids reassignment (press Red button in OTA screen) - This will allow the receiver to be updated from additional satellites and transponders if ever needed.
