Dvr-1100c - DiSEqC 1.1 support
ADVERTS 1
Would it be possible to add diseqc 1.1 support in a future firmware release?
That would make this the cream of the crop of Standard Definition receivers!

Will add that to the implementation list. Shouldn't be a problem.

Excellent, must add that the request is for being able to cascade all of the switches when you add this in.
and the various combo's therein.Code:Example: RECV => DiSEqC1.1 => DiSEqC 1.0 => SWXX => 22kHz
Finally broke my 4 LNB limit and realized that I could not order a DiSEqC 1.1 to free up my 2x SW21 and 2x 4-port Chietas for use elsewhere.
On top of that I don't want to use SW21 if possible since their control tones have reception effects both ATSC chipsets that I use.
Checking after the firmware update to 3.17, I have less than a second of playback on my Zenith DTT-900's and DigitalStream DTX-9950's that is effected when switching to an LNB on a SW21.

why would you want to cascade all those switches?
Once Diseqc 1.1 is implemented then just add 4x1 switches on the inputs of the 8x1Winegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet
Two 6 foot Fortec dish with GeoSatPro dual C-Band LNB "ghetto moved" to various C-Band satellites

DiSEqC 1.1 switch protocol would support the 22KHz and DiSEqC switch cascading, but not all variants (Dish Network SW) types as you suggest.
