Anyone Motorized the Geosat Pro 90cm?

    ADVERTS 1
Has Anyone Motorized the Geosat Pro 90cm dish? I hadn't planned to but when considering adding a cranked arm to achieve an elevation less than 10 degrees for the poor man's H-H mount I realized the elevation bracket pivot bolt blocks the top of the bracket. If I try to use a cranked arm from the bottom the polar axis would get in the way of the dish.

How did you connect it to the elevation bracket, did you invert the dish or the motor?

I have mine mounted on a DG380 motor. Just make sure to get a 42mm tube. Most have the proper holes in it for the bolt in the mount to go through. Pics below that I just shot with my phone.
