Just wondering out of curiosity, is Glorystar attempting to allign all of the channels on to the Galaxy 19 satellite? I have noticed a trend towards stations moving over there. May not be a bad idea as customers would only need to aim at one bird as opposed to two.

A contract issue has removed Bethel TV and Radio from G19 and they may remain on the original AMC4, 11860.

AMC 2/4 transponder frequency 11860 has had performance issues and several of the broadcasters have been attempting to relocate. A new 101w satellite should be in position before 2010.

Glorystar is committed to the multiple satellite reception package as this choice provides competitive uplink options for the broadcasters and space for many more channels.
