Christian Movie Channel???

I don't know if any such channel exists, but it sure would be nice to see. A station that operates almost like an HBO type of channel, but playing Christian Films all day and night. That would be a great addition to Glorystar that would really get people watching!

Honestly, I am 99% sure there is no purely Christian movie channel marketed as such. I think your closest bet would probably be Hallmark Movie Channel with the G rated entertainment.

The announcement was jointly made by ComStar Chairman Dr. Robert A. Schuller and ComStar President & CEO Chris Wyatt, who assume oversight of the network.

ALN thrives as the only independent network devoted to America's baby boomer generation and their families, delivering classic TV, lifestyle, original and socially responsible programming that addresses compelling issues important to today's baby boomer audience. With the acquisition of ALN, ComStar has a vehicle to build out a premiere family-friendly network that will amalgamate television and Internet mediums and fill a void for safe, family programming targeting viewers of all ages.

Christian Movie Channel

Christian Movie Channel. Looks like these people are trying to start a christian movie channel. Not sure if this is the same one Glorystar had heard of, but it is good to see that someone is taking a look at the possibility. Apparently, they are starting off as an internet channel first, then they are looking to broadcast on TV, according to their blurbs and survey questions. I took their survey and voiced my support.

The seven or eight films that don't offend anybody's religious views are sure to get old fast if there's a channel running them all day every day.

AmericanLife TV is more of a general nostalgia TV line-up with family values, so I guess this new upstart project may be the one to wait for if you want a Christian movie network.

Hopefully though, with the more well-known names of Rev. Schuller and GodTube behind it, ALN can finally get better distribution. And - hopefully they'll keep their classic TV and "Boomer Solutions" blocks of interesting family programming.

Doesn't even have to be a Christian film. It could be any and all G rated material. That would be nice.
