    Glorystar 1100c Very Weak SES1

    ADVERTS 1
Galaxy 19 comes in very well on my system (dual LNBF) but SES1 connot be raised above 25 on the quality. The operation of the LNBF is verified - it pulls in G19 at 65.
Has anyone else experience a similar problem?

You're at the "tweaking" stage at this point. Try moving the LNB for SES1 in and out (ever so gently) and twisting (skew) to improve QUALITY.

Even with a excellent meter I have had to adjust to get it higher for some people.

Thanks for the response. I have adjusted the LNBF in and out, rotated, and adjusted the LNBF bracket for skew. Perhaps it is may be my location.

SES1 replaced AMC4 at 101W and the coverage especially into Mexico, the Carribean and northern Canada was hindered. Depending on where in California you are (especially close to Mexico), you may have issues

This is why the Adventist channels moved to 97W
Winegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet
Two 6 foot Fortec dish with GeoSatPro dual C-Band LNB "ghetto moved" to various C-Band satellites
