Most likely the dish is pointed to the wrong satellite. A good Signal Level indicates that the receiver is connected to a LNBF. The high Signal Quality indicates that the dish is aimed at a satellite with a similar transponder and that the LNBF is working. The lack of picture indicates that while the dish is aimed at a satellite, unfortunately it is the wrong one........

    1. Use channel 901, RT News to locate the satellite as this frequency will usually not produce a false Signal Quality reading as long as the LNBF rotation (skew) is properly set. Get at least 50% Signal Quality with picture.
    2. Use channel 113, Cornerstone to verify Signal Quality of at least 50%.
    3. Perform the OTA "Update Now" to load new firmware and channel list.
    4. Check channels 106, 3ABN and 113, Cornerstone and adjust dish and LNBF so both channels are the highest Signal Quality (50% or higher) and as balanced as possible.
    5. Check all channels to make sure the Signal Quality is as balanced as possible and all are above 50% Signal Quality.

All channels must be above 50% Signal Quality to assure reliable reception during inclement weather.
