Glorystar Updates
ADVERTS 1
I have an interesting problem with my GEOSATpro DVR1100c. On Monday nights when the receiver updates it turns itself on. I press the power button on the remote and turn it back off and 10 seconds later it turns itself back on. Press the power button again--turns off then back on about 10 seconds later. It happens in Glorystar mode and Advanced mode. I power the switch in the back off/on and it all works fine again until the next update. When I had it in Advanced mode I left the OTA ON otherwise it would lose time.

Is this after the update is completed or are you attempting to interrupt the update so it will not occur?

It is after the update is completed. In fact when the update comes in I am asleep and the next morning the receiver is on. I never interrupt the update, I should have been more clear.

Thank you for the clarification. We have never observed this operational issue after an update.
We would recommend performing a Master Reset. This will reload the current firmware from flash and delete data from unused memory blocks.

How is a Master Reset done?
