Glorystar Always says there is a new version available.
ADVERTS 1
I have a GeoSat Pro DVR 1100c
I have it in advanced mode. When I go to manually check for updates it says:
"SW GS03.34, Data 01.66
Signal : OK
New Version : SW GS03.34, Data 01.66
Do you want to update S/W ?"
Why does it think there is a new version ?
I have already tried factory default, and tried the OTA again.
Same thing.

The screen is simply telling you the installed version and the version available from the satellite. Compare the versions. They are the same, so there is no reason to perform a manual OTA update. You would be downloading and installing the same version that is already installed.
If you used the automatic update mode, the receiver would compare the versions and only download if the new version is a higher number.Last edited by SatelliteAV; 01-28-2012 at 11:28 PM.
