question on buying a unit
ADVERTS 1
I am thinking about buying the one room system. I know I can set it up, as I setup my direct tv in the past. But I was wondering what other channels would I get if I bought a motor, and does that FTA receiver command the motor?

Thanks for the information, Also should the standard dish that comes with this package be large enough to pick these other channel and audio feeds up?

A 36" (90 cm) dish is the recommended size for the majority of signals for KU band in North America. Some people go with a larger dish if they are located on the fringe of a satellite footprint or want better signal reliability in adverse conditions.
Dishes up to 39" / 1 meter are protected by FCC regulation for installation in HOAs, apartments, etc. Larger dish installs are subject to rules and regulations set by the HOA, city, property management.
