Warner Announces 'Woodstock' Director's Cut for Blu-ray

In an unusually early announcement, Warner says it is planning to bring painstakingly-restored director's cut version of the documentary 'Woodstock' to Blu-ray in July 2009.

Not sure when it is coming out but there is a promo for it at the beginning of National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets. All they say is "coming this fall", so anytime between September and December. My guess is it will be released sometime in October, just in time for Halloween.

Indy IV Drops On DVD

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will drop on DVD and Blu-ray disc on Oct. 14, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Paramount Home Entertainment announced.

The fourth installment in the hit franchise will be available as a two-disc special-edition DVD and Blu-ray loaded with bonus features that allow viewers to accompany the filmmakers and cast behind the scenes of the sequel film.

The features include footage of director Steven Spielberg and his cast and crew at work.

Separately, a new box set of all four Indiana Jones films will be released as "The Complete Adventure Collection," which will include the first three films and the special-edition DVD of the latest installment.

The companies offered no suggested pricing for the discs.
