ADVERTS 1
The post was not about a comparison to of BD and HD-DVD. It was about Netflix PQ streamed via the internet compared to a HD media. While not BD specific, it was stating that HD media, in this case still has a chance to be edged out by streaming media or Dl content. Or not depending upon who you believe.
Yes it went off the topic you started. Which was giving a BD disk with a player going to make sales jump for players.
The consensus seems to be that it is going to take more than a free disk when streaming content that looks pretty good to the average TV watcher is cheaper than purchasing a BD player.
Unless player prices come down they will be a niche market that may get passed up by DL content.Samsung HL-S5086W DLP/Panasonic DMP-BD55, Harmon Kardon AVR 254, Mirage Nanosats , Nintendo Wii-- Family Room
