    Wow, it looks like each new BD release brings a new host of potential problems that will send CE manufacturers scrambling. Thankfully, Panasonic seems to be among the most reliable in that area.

    Yepp, Panasonic has been doing this for awhile. One reason why itd be hard for me to stray from their BR players.

    Bleary eyed and just finished reading thru this thread. GREAT info. it has helped me decide to get off the fence and buy a BD55. ) I am planning to order it very soon. Looking on Amazon today and yesterday, I do not see any movies bundles to go with the BD55 for $342.90 with free shipping. Am I missing something, or does that offer come AFTER you initiate a purchase.

    As someone asked earlier here, any ideas if Amazon might spring for a 'sale price' any time soon. I am not familiar with Amazon's ways.
