Looking at the
Panasonic 2009 CES site
, there is a picture of a Blu-ray player with a DMP-BD60 model number. And
one of the press releases
talks about "Viera Cast", a way to receive Internet content on your Blu-ray device or Viera HDTV.
Ah, from the
2009 CES link, select "Download Press Materials"
and all shall be revealed... DMP-BD60 and DMP-BD80, plus a Blu-ray/VHS(!) combo player.

My wife gave me the go sign at Costco this evening to pick up a BD-35. Somehow they had one in the back and just put it out. Got the $50 off and now I can give my PS3 a rest. I have been watching so many BD movies that the PS3 fan has started to sound like my vacumm cleaner. After reading how quiet and efficient the BD-35 is I am looking forward to adding it to my stack.
