    Question Can someone help me plz about the blu-ray player?

    Hi guys..
    Was wondering if u guys can help me in this issue..I bought the SONY S550 blu-ray player but badly need to firewire update for sure..I don’t have router at this time, just up floor I have my desktop connected it to yahoo basic DSL modem..Now I discount the Ethernet from my pc goes to modem and wanna connect it to the player. But back of the player says USB & LAN connection..So I don’t know how I can do. I don’t have anything beside that behind my DSL modem. Can u help me a bit?

    You could DL the firmware update from the sony site and then burn a copy using an ISO burning tool.
    Or you could disconnect the Ethernet connection from the computer and connect it to the LAN input of the BD player.

    I just done & did,what Kevin said on top eriler in this page,I connceted my modem to LAN of the player, well work & updated! took few minutes & Was much quicker way to me i guess
