Rogers Cable is boosting its multicultural TV programming line-up with ET Global, a Mandarin Chinese entertainment channel.

Rogers Digital Cable customers can watch a free preview of ET Global on channel 598, in Ontario, until June 15th, the company announced.

ET Global features programs such as the ETTV U.S. news, the in-depth "ET Worldwide" call-in program, the widely popular celebrity talk show about fortune tellers, the made for television dramas and the English-language learning series.

With the addition of ET Global, Rogers continues to offer its customers the most multicultural programming with 45 channels in over 20 different
languages.

"Rogers recognizes that many of its customers want to remain connected to their culture, while living in Canada, by providing a growing list of
multicultural programming," said David Purdy, Vice-President of Television for Rogers Cable, in a release. "In addition to offering programs in numerous languages, Rogers is focusing on increasing the number of programs available per language.
Customers can choose from three channels in Mandarin Chinese, giving them the choice to watch what they want to see with Personal TV."

At the end of the free preview, the service will be available for $19.95 a month plus the rental or purchase of a digital cable set-top box.
