Channel Scanning with Voom
ADVERTS
Channel Scan will not detect Local signals-Voom Box
I recently bought an old Voom box reportedly active as of the kill date, but presumably off line at the time of the kill signal. Software 02.4c so it sounds like the latest version. My guess is the machine was active in Georgia as it shows numerous locals programmed in. However, when I run the scan, it refuses to detect any of my locals my home area (Southern Wisconsin) I detect locals through another box attached to the same antenna. Any ideas? Have tried to detect locals by manually inputting the first digit of the local signal in the aim antenna mode (can't add the dashes) and it still does not identify them. I think I have tried all the obvious things. THanks for any help.

Zenith: I have pushed the red button to change the output resolution, but do not recall holding it in all too long--I see that this could "reset" the box, tho this does not seem to have happened--but how would I know for sure? Thanks.
