Has anyone played with the TSOP Flash?
ADVERTS
Is the IRD J-Tagable?
Does anyone have a whitepapers on the Flash chip that the Motorola DR-550 uses?
Has anyone tried to clone a de-activated reciever with a backup of a working reciever?
I'm new with these boxes but I've played around with the old JVC 3500's that were used for DN, and learned alot about lifting the TSOP and reading it, writing it, and replacing it. I don't know how delicate the system boards might be, but its worth a shot.
Maybe there is a coder out there, that could assist in writing new features into the Flash Bios.
Like I said these boxes are interesting to play with.

This is the web address that sends you directly to Ultatryon's Voom Message Board. Like Ronniejay said, the board hasn't had much activity for over a month. He was working on getting a special part to tap into the doc chip, but it is still apparently on backorder.
