Recently got a VOOM recvr for HD OTA - I don't have a remote for it yet. Is there a way to get into the menu to do a search for all HD channels in the Albuquerque, NM area and store them in memory?

Digital Rain, Nope, must have a voom remote control. could also try an aftermarket universal remote control that has codes for general instrument and motorola.

I have a Starchoice Remote control that will work on the VOOM unit - but it only changes channels but no menu controls for programming. So im looking for a VOOM remote - anyone know where I can get one - or does anyone have one for sale here on this site?

A universal remote like a Harmony will work. You need to scan your local channels (I believe its the green button twice but I'm not sure) and then you can check off the channels you want to include in your selection. There is no channel guide.
