Noooo...especially at her salary level! As the old saying goes (assuming you're not Billy Martin), "you can never go back." Time to NBC to look for up-and-coming young talent.

Katie Couric won't go back to the Today show. It wouldn't be a smart move on her part or NBC.

If I was to guess I think she will stay with CBS on 60 minutes . I don't believe the story that other networks are talking to her. I think it's just some spin from her agent. I knew this was going to happen. I knew she wouldn't work out. Originally Posted by lakebum431

It's unfortunate she's leaving newscasting permanently, I think she'd make a great and natural replacement for Katie Couric.
