- 12-28-2011 11:11 PM #42It does automatically roll back to 1X. Since Verizon is using eHPRD with the 4G devices when the LTE network goes down eHPRD 3G usually goes with it. That is why you have to go into Modem Settings to get 3G back over the EVDO Rev A. network.

I guess that was my point; my 3G didn't go with it.

Yeah, 3G was fine for me during the last outage.

Charper, I know what you mean. My tbolt did go back to 3G, so I'm not.complaining (much). I was in a full 4g area during the outage though.
Some other devices don't fall back to 3g though from what I've seen. Poor guys
