VoIP Provider Recommendations ADVERTS 1
I know we've had this discussion before, but what's the current state?
I have my land line with Time Warner, but they are pissing me off after a move from U-Verse. I'll keep the 50meg/5 meg IP service, but I know I can do better on the VoIP stuff from elsewhere.
What are folks here using, and what's the reason?
Looking to LNP my local number.
Need VoiceMail, on the web call logs (real time), and Web Access to VoiceMail.
CallerID with Name is required as well.
Thanks All!2xHopper, 1xJoey/AEP-BB@Home-Locals/HD Locals-SS/Sling Adapter

I would say Ooma, even though their site was down for a while this morning. That was the only time I have ever had an issue with them

I second Ooma. Great call quality and never an issue (sans this morning). I'll admit, though, its a bit nervewracking dropping $200 on the device with the outside chance the company could go belly-up tommorow.

Scott seems happy with Magic Jack. I haven't heard anyone else happy with it.

With all of the ads and that they can spy on your computer I would do everything to avoid Magic Jack. It's even in the EULA.
MagicJack’s EULA says it will spy on you and force you into arbitration – Boing Boing Gadgets
