Help getting audio to my amp?

    ADVERTS 1
    Hi all

I need an elegant way to get my external hard drive with mp3's to my amp. I would like to use a ipod or someway to select a song to play from my lounge chair. Maybe a laptop plugged into my amp with a app on the ipod by bluetooth to control.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    JD

You don't say what receiver you have. Unless your receiver is ipod capable or DLNA capable, it is next to impossible. What do you have?

Have you just tried to use a media server via your computer instead? Your HDD could be ran though your receiver is you have a USB connection. I am guessing you do not.
