Scott, the Dish feed is impressive for Dish. However, my OTA feeds look a lot better.

When you said the network feeds look worse, are you talking about the ones coming via Dish?

PBS (OTA) for me is far and away the best (both PQ wise and most uncluttered) feed available ..

with CNN chosing to cover around 1/3rd of the screen with banners/scrolls and even a damn "soundometer" or whatever they want to call it it is simply unwatchable for me ..

I find myself flicking back to PBS to watch the speeches, then back and forth between Fox and CNN for the "opposite ends of the scale" commentary.

The Feed im watching at a undisclosed place, puts both dish's and Directv's HD feed to shame.. Allthough Dish's feed is pritty impressive. I was comparing both and over at D* the feed has noticable microblocking at some points. As I posed over in the D* forum.
