Nobody's looking for a 722K?
- 02-01-2012 11:51 PM #3
I might be interested but I don't know anything about Dish Net stuff or what it would be worth so I wouldn't even know what sort of offer to make.
Is it HD? Some of the guys suggest I look at a 211k. Is this comparable? Or better?
I'm wanting HD, OTA and the ability to record to disk. I would want to be able to move the recordings from the tuner disk to my pc so I can keep them.
What all comes with it? Is a dish included?
Am I barking up the wrong tree here?
If this machine is pretty close to this, I might want to call dibs on it.I sit.

The 722k is a dual tuner DVR. You can record 2 sat and 2 OTA programs at the same time. The 211 is a 1 sat 1 OTA recording option
It has a built in hard drive but you can add an external hard drive
The 722k has a $6 DVR fee monthly whereas the 211k has a one time $40 feeWinegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet
Two 6 foot Fortec dish with GeoSatPro dual C-Band LNB "ghetto moved" to various C-Band satellites

nope
I've said this a couple times in the other thread when you've asked it
OWNED EQUIPMENT REQUIRES NO CREDIT CHECK
OWNED EQUIPMENT HAS NO CONTRACT
The DVR fee is just added on top of the monthly programming feeWinegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Thanks Ice. You saved me the trouble of typing all of that.

I'm sorry, I'm dense on some things.. I'm just so distrustful of companies/corporations, they always have a snake in the grass with their fine print and fast talking.
So, that all said, I guess this tuner would be a good tuner to have. Shall we dance?

its a dual sat tuner AND a dual OTA tuner. its nifty to watch the box recording 4 things at once.
you must have sat service for the recording functions to work
