HBO en Espaņol and HBO Latino are two separate channels.

HBO en Espaņol is littlerally HBO, the one and only HBO, in Spanish. We currently get HBO in spanish on Dish channel 300 and 303 using the alternate audio feature on the receiver and selecting Spanish.

HBO Latino is a different channel that shows about 85% the same programming as HBO, but the other 15% or so is unique programming produced in Spanish, including some very good movies not available anywhere else. This is channel 309 on Dish.

Unless HBO changed their branding, of course.

THERE= a place. not here - THEIR= belongs to them - THEY'RE = short for "They Are". THEN = a point in time; not now. - THAN = used to compare things.

Some one can win a MEDAL made of a METAL like gold for showing his METTLE (courage)
If something is LOOSE you might LOSE it. Your=belongs to "you" You're short for "you are"

If two sets of twin brothers have a gunfight, you have a Dual Duel
MUTE=Silent, unable to talk. MOOT= No loger relevant or important. "A mute points out a moot point."

Thanks Tony I always thought that HBO Latino replaced HBO en Espanol but I guess not. But if it always the same as HBO East except for the different audio why bother to broadcast the picture in HD again? or will they somehow use the same video.

Thanks for clearing that up. Seriously...

It was confusing seeing that logo. Leave it to Dish Network to consider that a separate channel towards their HD count. HBO Latino in HD, yeah, that counts, but not a mirrored channel with the same HD video feed and different audio feed. Silliness!

Virtually all the media stories report DISH is picking up HBO latino HD. I really think that they just used the wrong logo. As I said I believe that HBO latino was the replacement for HBO en Espanol
