The House of Representatives have defeated the bill to move the DTV switch until June, this means that the Digital Switchover will still happen on February 17th.Scott

I think that is fantastic, if people that rely on OTA tv then they should know by now how to get the box's There own fault if they don't have one yet. I say Horray...Full power digital coming soon to all stations.

They didn't defeat the"bill" just the procedures which can be voted on again at any time

I hope it is still defeated. IT is stupid to waste anymore time on the transition. It is time to move into the 21st century and end the 1950's analog signal.

Yes, the bill could be brought up again and again, but for right now it is NOT passed. There is not much time now to pass a bill.
