Sirius Replacing my radio FREE
ADVERTS 1
The Sirius Radio that I got through SatGuys several years ago died. I called and confirmed that it was DOA. I asked to close my account and get a refund. I thought that I would start-up again in a month or two when I got around to ordering a new radio.
Instead, they offered me a new radio, car kit, boom-box and shipping for FREE! I, of course, took them up on the deal.Scooter S.

I'm kind of confused. Why would you expect to get a refund on a radio that was a few years old. Or was the potntial refund on a partial month of service. So, what kind of unit did you have, and what kind are they sending you?

He was probably referring to the yearly subscription.

Stimpson: I had a yearly subscription. I think it renewed recently, so they would have owed me some change.
Noooo, I didn't expect anything on a 3 year old ish radio. The old unit was a JVC that Scott got for Pub members several years ago.
I don't have the replacement receiver and equipment yet. I assume that it is "entry level."Scooter S.

Gotcha. I see now. Let us know when you get the stuff in. That's a pretty sweet deal they gave you.

My girfriends radio and mine had been stolen out of our cars recently. I called to deactivate service for a while till we had enough money to buy a couple radios and they ended up giving me 2 free starmate replays. Still a happy quarterly paying customer.

They are definitely hurting to keep customers, we called again for a third time to cancel and they again gave my wife three free months and it looks like if I call and tell them that our radio died that they'll just send us a free unit.
