    Can I do this?

    ADVERTS 1
I have a GMC truck with a factory XM radio that I have never had service on. But I've been using a Sirius Sportster 5 instead. I was using it in a previous vehicle before the merger and wanted to keep Sirius instead of XM. But lately I've been having some reception issues with the sportster and have thought about cancelling the service since I really don't listen that often anyways. But I still have a couple of months left on my Sirius subscription. So I wonder since they have now merged, if I cancel the service on my Sportster if they will turn on the service to my factory XM for the remainder of my subscription?? I understand I may lose a few channels (Stern for example), but that's alright. Anyone know for sure?

I've actually considered canceling all together. I've been recently transferred to another location at my job. So I've gone from about an hours total driving time everyday to about 10 minutes per day. Which is really nice for saving gas, but it leaves no time for satellite radio. Plus the reception on mt Sportster has gone to crap.
