What happened to Casey Kasem on the 80's?

I have been recording this on the 70's and 80's every week and this week he was on the 70's but the 80's channel has the DJ's top 40 countdown. Are they cutting out Casey's Countdown? If so, then that will be the last straw for me.

" Alan Hunter said earlier last evening that along with retiring in real life, Casey's also been retired from the 80's channel. He specifically said he'd still be on the 70's. If that ends up being true, I'll be very disappointed. "

Retiring from what on the 80's? Everything is recorded.

XM radio has segments from original AMERICA'S TOP 40 with Kasey recording every now and then.
I listed via Directv 80's channel
