    Sirius install

    ADVERTS
    Hi All:
I'm new to this site and I have a question regarding installation of a satellite radio. I have a Sirius Stratus 6 radio that I wish to install on my 02 GMC pickup. The radio has an aux/ cd button on the radio, so I'm assuming that it has an imput in the back of the radio. Do I need a special adapter to connect my receiver to the radio. Thanks for your imput.

i also own a gm truck and i pretty sure that input is not what you think. its for the factory designed xm radio tuner that is optional. it won't accept a plug and play radio like a stratus (of course if your handy with a soldering iron and have the pinout diagram for the gm radio it is quite possible to hack up a headphone cord and make it work. but i doubt its plug and play.
it will be some square multiconductor plug for the gm xm tuner.
