Switching from Sirius to XM
ADVERTS 1
I have Sirius with best of XM on a portable unit in a work vehicle. I am about to get a new work vehicle that has XM built in. Is it a simple process of calling up and deactivating the Sirius unit and transferring my subcription to XM?
Thanks

Good luck with that. Even though they are the same company, they treat them as separates...

Yes, it is that simple. However if you are under any promotion. The promotion will not transfer.
Here is what you do. (assuming XM is built into the vehicle) when you call, tell them it is a new vehicle (to you) and you will get three free months.
You may end up paying more, if the programming you want is on Sirius as XM does not have the same A'la Carte
