He's still young, plenty of time left in his career. Sounds a little like another Duke alumni, who signed a big contract - Grant Hill.
Before everybody jumps on that comment, let me say now that this is no reflection on Duke. How could it be? Just point out a similarity.

Not a big night of good NBA games for a Friday...
7:00 Orlando - Indiana
Magic are going to miss Jameer Nelson. Now they have to depend more on JJ Redick.
7:30 Boston - New York
Whose turn is it to torch the Knicks tonight? Now they get an ornery Celtic team. Nice. The Knicks really need a breather, like a game against the Pistons or Heat...

NBA corrects stats, LeBron loses triple-double - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

There's more to playoff success than just winning. Sometimes, you have to go into enemy territory outside your stadium and walk the walk.

This is F*n ridiculous! Wallace didn't even get the rebound. The ball may have breezed off his fingers, but LeBron came down with the ball and passed to an opponent to maintain possession!
What a crock! Go to hell NBA! You clearly have an agenda. You pissed on Cleveland twice now in the last week! We will not forget this!

I heard a rather incredible stat this evening.
Over the course of the last 35 NBA seasons, 4 of the top 15 teams in point differential (a stat that many believe is a tell tale sign of being an elite team) are teams from this season!
2008-09 point differential rankings
1. Cavaliers +10.3
2. Celtics + 9.6
3. Lakers + 8.6
4. Magic +8.6
To put this in perspective, the fifth and sixth place teams from this season are Denver and Portland, tied at +3.9
Think about that for a minute, 27% of the top 15 teams with the best point differential in the last 35 years, are from THIS season!!

The Wizards are getting their brains beaten.
If myself, Bill, HD MM, Sandra, and Celtics_HD came together as a starting five, we'd KILL the Wiz.
I told HD that the so-called Cavs/Wizards "rivalry" is as competitive as the Roadrunner and the Coyote."Winning big games ON THE ROAD is the signature of a clutch QB." BillD

Don't know if this has been pointed out already, but I heard on ESPN this morning that when the Knicks played the Lakers, Cavs, and Celtics, it was the first time in NBA history that a team faced three successive opponents that were each 25 or more games above .500. Now, the Knicks take their act to the West Coast.
