There's more to playoff success than just winning. Sometimes, you have to go into enemy territory outside your stadium and walk the walk.

In their third season, they made a miraculous run to the Stanley Cup Finals, with the rats on the ice.what did they do sabres if you don't mind telling me?
Since then, they have made the playoffs twice in 12 years with only one win.

There had been alot of ownership issues as well as where they were gonna play. Look at it as the "curse of Little Havana". Since leaving Miami for the greener pastures of Broward County....they have yet to make the playoffs.... But in 2000, the MAKING of a playoffs was more of a fluke than winning in the playoffs. I would NEVER consider winning 3 series to make the Stanley Cup Finals a fluke.
