I know you did, and he certainly proved you right!

I know that the Celtics are trying to find a replacement for James Posey (HUGE LOSS, IMO), but bringing in Miles for a look was a head-scratcher!

Mildly. I'm more nervous than anything.

After all my teams played well in '07, both the Browns and Indians did considerably worse than anticipated in '08. Let's hope this isn't the trend for the Cav's too.

The NBA will have instant replay for clock situations at the end of a quarter or a game, as well as 3-pointers.

    Good idea?

There's more to playoff success than just winning. Sometimes, you have to go into enemy territory outside your stadium and walk the walk.

Fine, as long as they avoid long delays.

Celtics were the unanimous pick on ESPN.com to win the Eastern Conference.

Here's a sample of the preview:

    Marc
    Stein
    ESPN.com
ATLANTIC: 1 | EAST: 1 Even without Posey -- and even in a conference that got slightly deeper -- Boston actually is a better bet to win the East than it was a year ago. Only Cleveland (or major injuries) can keep the Celts from getting back to the Finals.

    True or False;

last year was Detroit's last chance to win a title for a while now?

    That's an EXCELLENT question.

I admit, I'm on the fence with that one.

I do feel that they're now the fourth best team in the Eastern Conference behind Boston, Cleveland and Philadelphia.

However, they still have a strong nucleus, and two good looking young players (Stuckey and Maxiell).

    We shall see.
