The Indians active offseason continues. Although I knew the majority of our money was spent in the Kerry Wood and Mark DeRosa signing, I also knew our next target had to be a bargain starting 5th pitcher. With that said, I see the signing of Carl Pavano as a low risk high reward. This is after all a pitcher who should be in his prime (32) and won 18 games just 4 years ago. If he can stay healthy, a change of scenery may be just what the doctor ordered....

Btw, KCK Halo, I heard some of the Mark Teixeria interview. He was interviewed by WFAN's Miked Up show with Mike Francesa. Tex SEEMED LIKE a nice guy. I say this because I think you've ripped him in the past, at least I think you did. He seemed like a nice guy but I would like to know what you think of him leaving the Angels. Do you mind or do you think more money, more greed?
