Unique Football Game-Fundraiser
ADVERTS
Many of you this month have seen a lot of pink being worn in honor of Breast Cancer awareness, fundraisers and walks to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
A high school about an hour's drive from where I live, Perry County Central in Perry Co., KY is going to have a unique game on Halloween night.
The school's football field has been painted pink and black, the guys on the football team are wearing pink jerseys with black numbers and lettering.
Some of the boys have been affected by breast cancer in their own families, so they put the name of the family member above their number on the jersey to honor them.
The team is hoping to raise $4,000-$5,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
So, what do you think?

Very nice and it's for a good cause.

There's more to playoff success than just winning. Sometimes, you have to go into enemy territory outside your stadium and walk the walk.
