Under Florida law that's true. But that's without a warrant etc. That's what the law reads. Why did Tiger keep telling them to come back day after day? Why not just tell them from day one I won't talk to you? He kept waiting till the last minute to cancel.

Seriously? Seriously? Again, if there is no crime to investigate (meaning no charges have been filed), why do the cops have to delve deeper into this story to find out IF Tiger and/or his wife have not revealed every single detail?

Under the United States Constitution that's true - - not just Florida law. He doesn't have to talk EVER. It doesn;t matter if a search warrant or warrant for his arrest is issued.

I don't know why he did what he did. It looks like he was trying to balance his self-interests with being cooperative with the police.
