After Buzz Bissinger wrote in The New York Times that LeBron may be afraid to leave Ohio, Raab, who has been around the Cavs since last June while working on a book, is convinced The King will stay in Cleveland if only to protect his family. More specifically, his mother. "His number-one goal in life is not an NBA championship," Raab said. "It's to protect her, and to protect himself. And I see no way for him to do that if he moves to New York City."

Sources: Bosh gives Raptors wish list

CHICAGO -- Chris Bosh's agent has told the Toronto Raptors that he's narrowed his list of preferred teams to five, two sources told ESPN.com's Chad Ford at the NBA draft camp.

The list of five teams -- Toronto plus the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and New York Knicks, sources said -- was given to Toronto management in case the Raptors want to construct a sign-and-trade deal (assuming Bosh doesn't re-sign with Toronto).

Bosh likes that option, sources told Ford, because he'd get one more year on his contract and could make more money.

Sources said the Raptors prefer a sign-and-trade if Bosh is intent on leaving as well. They likely would want a big man to replace the 6-10, 230-pound Bosh in the lineup.

One source said Bosh's decision hinges on where LeBron James signs.

"If LeBron decides to go to either New York or Chicago, I think that's where you'll see Chris land," the source told Ford. "If LeBron stays in Cleveland, I think the process is more wide open."

Bosh, 26, is an unrestricted free agent. He averaged 24 points per game last season and has averaged 20.2 points per game for his career.

If LeBron James isn't sure he can win in Cleveland, President Barack Obama thinks there's an opportunity with his hometown Chicago Bulls.

"You know, like I said, I don't want to meddle," Obama told TNT. "I will say this: [Derrick] Rose, Joakim Noah it's a pretty good core. You know, you could see LeBron fitting in pretty well there."

Who cares where he goes or stays. Poor Bron needs his first ring already so everyone can leave him alone and stop making fun and teasing him how bad he has choked over the years. Jordan took 6 seasons, Bryant in 4 and Wade in 3 for their first rings.. Cmon Lebron, you falling behind pal and you don't want to join these guys do ya?

Never understood the advantage in going to Chicago. Sure they have Derrick Rose, but who else? Noah is a Varajao clone. From top to bottom, the Cavs still have a much superior roster compared to the Bulls. It takes more than just two players to win a Championship. It takes a team and I still think the Cavs have one of the best teams in the NBA.

But look at it this way. In Chicago, you have one of the top 15 players in the league in Rose ...and more the likely, top 5 point guards in the league. Noah, a Varajao clone with better offense, IMPO. Hinrich and Deng become expenable and perfect for a sign and trade to Toronto for Bosh.

....NOW look at that team: Bosh, Noah, Rose... a team with THAT nucleus is almost as good as the CAVS. You add Lebron in the mix....that COULD BE the best starting nucleus of young talent in the league....EASILY....and for a long time too.
