Thread: Heat FIRE Sales Staff

It was reported this morning that the Miami Heat, yup, the ones that signed LeBron and Wade and Bosh.

Have amazingly SOLD out all thier tickets

So, what does the team do ?

They FIRE the entire STAFF ......

Sighting that they have NO TICKETS to sell so they don't need them anymore.

What a GREAT company to work for,
We do our job and because we've done it well, were FIRED !

WOW is right. What a stupid move in my opinion. They could have probably reassigned them to crowd control during the games or whatever.

They could do SOMETHING with them ....

Of course, I don't know, maybe they hire a new staff for ticket sales every year ?

I have to admit...this has taken me by surprise...but what is people in sales to do IF there is nothing to sell? They do sales ONLY...and season ticket sales only to boot. I guess this is the ulgy side of being TOO successful in the season ticket sales.

Really Ramy? From someone that more than likely did nothing but sales to suddenly have them doing security crowd control?! That is like saying that you can get ANYONE from the street and do crowd control.

Are the supplimented ?
Will they be brought back NEXT year ?
Will they WANT to come back knowing they will be gone again as soon as tickets are gone ?

What do OTHER teams do, the Heat are not the ONLY ones that sell out thier tickets ?

I can answer safe with "I don't know" to all of the questions above. I am too wonder what other teams do.

It goes to show you, that now that the HEAT have all this attention on them, if they do ANYTHING that remotely smells strange...it will be reported.

Meh. Extreme exaggeration. The Heat are not the victim here. Firing an entire sales staff is news regardless what team you're talking about.

NO ONE has said they are a victim. Has this happened in the past? Who knows? So UNLESS you have some inside info.....you don't know IF it is an exaggeration or not.
