channels add themselves on local tv

hmm.. i didnt know where to post this! so on my small olevia hdtv everytime im changing the channels new channels appear that dont exist :| i like to scan from time to time and the channels that add themselves dont come up when i do the scan. i live in los angeles and these channels added themselves : 41.5, 41.6. hmm thats the only channel that comes up that is not a LA channel. I guess the other channels got erased by itself :| when i change it to those channels it says "no picture".... does the tv scan for channels by itself? channels add themselves and remove themselves! its weird!

I am using a MyHD TV card on my computer and it works great! Some come with DVR and recording software. Some are hardware cards and some are software cards. I have a hardware card so I can run the HD TV program on one monitor while working on something else on another with little to no performance loss.

THERE= a place. not here - THEIR= belongs to them - THEY'RE = short for "They Are". THEN = a point in time; not now. - THAN = used to compare things.

Some one can win a MEDAL made of a METAL like gold for showing his METTLE (courage)
If something is LOOSE you might LOSE it. Your=belongs to "you" You're short for "you are"

some tv's will auto scan behind the scenes to make sure it has all the channels since they can change (number of sub channels, even the channel display number as well) though that generally doesn't happen often from anything I've seen locally.. I have seen on one tv recently an option to turn that on or off..
