Modify Direct Tv or Dish Network dish

Hi, my namde is Fernando and i would like to know how i can modify a direct tv dish (terk) or Dish Network dish to get FTA channels specially form South america (Ecuador) and what receiver is the best for that or if i can modify the direct tv receiver (rca)

Unfortunately you can not modify a small dish for reception of FTA channels since they are too small, you may pick up one channel but even that would be very lucky, you will need at least a 31" dish for FTA.

You also can not modify a DirecTV receiver for FTA since it is not a DVB tuner (Different standard that is not compatible with DVB).
